Q: What is the purpose of the Dinnerbell organization?
A: To provide free community meals to the greater Ipswich area.
Q: When are the meals served?
A: Every Monday from 5:00 PM until 6:30 PM.
Q: How much does it cost to eat a meal at the Dinnerbell?
A: There is no charge and all are welcome.
Q: Can I get a takeout meal?
A: We hope that people will eat together in community. If there is sufficient food, takeout meals may be available after 6 p.m.
Q: I don’t really need a free meal, can I pay when I eat?
A: Dinnerbell meals are for anyone who wants to eat, no one needs to pay. However, if you would like to make a donation please do so through your church or other group if you have an affiliation or mail a check to Ipswich Dinner Bell, PO Box 259 Ipswich, MA 01938
Q: Can I donate food to Dinnerbell?
A: If you have nonperishable items, please donate them to the Ipswich Food Pantry. Ipswich Dinner Bell does need large donations of foods for the meals, but these need to come directly from an approved supplier and be received in accordance with the Town’s health regulations. Please contact us for more information about donating food.
